Finally….
….it is over…
It had robbed my past few weekends and also my evenings with Princess Gabby.
I had my launch of the new addition to my hair care range. Biotouch Pure range.
Reached office at 7am this morning because I knew I would have not enough time to do anything later in the morning. I looked up to the sky and said in my heart: Please let me have a great launch event. Everything will go on smoothly.
At this very moment, I saw the moon was still hanging high up in the sky….or was it the sun??
The media partners started to arrive at 10.30am. It was GREAT and it WAS a RELIEVE to see the invited ones waltzed in the main entrance.
We started the event at 11.30am. I was so unprepared. I had butterflies in my stomach but I had to initiate the event. Thank goodness I didn't have to make an emergency visit to the loo.
WHY???
BECAUSE it was my very first time being an emcee!!!!!!!! An inexperienced, first timer with screechy voice holding the microphone talking. Can you imagine that?!
Okay, the beginning of my speech was a little shaky. I was really afraid and nervous but I had to put up a confident look. The perception in my mind was : “Once I am being put on stage, I have to put up a show regardless the situation. Everyone is an actor on stage.”
I managed to sail through the whole event.
The whole objective of the event was to launch my new baby – the new gentle deep cleansing shampoo – Biotouch Purifying Shampoo and the leave in conditioner – Aqua Essence.
Biotouch Purifying Shampoo has micro beads which cleanse the scalp gently and yet doesn’t scuff up the hair. Biotouch Aqua Essence on the other hand has a double emulsion effect. I am proud to say that there is a patented technology in it. Its cream uses water-in-oil-in-water emulsion, to amplify the hydrating effect and gives 19 hours of moisture retention and the best part is, this conditioner doesn’t weigh down the hair. A perfector for fine hair!!!
Besides launching this new addition to the family, we also had a New Face announcement.
Xandria Ooi was announced as the new face for my brand. I am really proud of it as she represents the brand superbly. Her persona and character fit in well.
