Friday - The clock was already showing 1.20pm. I finished my teleconferences with regional office at 12.50pm. I quickly sent out whatever urgent emails that I needed to sent and did whatever I needed to clear before people chase me for it. Mamma Mia intercom-ed me for lunch. I rushed downstairs and looked her up. Both of us didn't have any other people to have lunch with as she just finished with her model and I needed to go out after lunch for an appointment. I told my usual lunch gang to go ahead without me.
Okay, so we zoomed out to the nearest mamak stalls for lunch. We agreed to have malay mixed rice as both of us felt like having a lot of dishes with a cheap price. *grin*
We managed to reach back to the office at 2pm and I hurried to shut down my laptop, took all my necessities, packed up and dashed out from the office. It was already 2.20pm. I traveled on the highway, zoomed all the way to the heart of the city – KL. My appointment was at 3pm, Lot 10.
I met up with Spiderman and Chinaman before all of us headed to Runway. We met up with Joel, the operations manager to discuss on his business plan and also his future plan. We took a short tour around the 2000 sq.ft outlet and left for Societe Café thereafter.
It was my very first time to witness a “sales talk appointment”. A good start for me to learn and observe how the sales people talk to their “future” customer. Joel is really a good talker and he presented his plans well. He is an investor and he has many businesses under his wings – ranging from Indonesia cuisine to hair salon.
After chatting for 1.5 hrs, we shook hands and parted.
I found myself on the highway again at 5.30pm. I headed to The Curve for my usual Friday night out with my sisters. I treasured every minute I have as I wanted to do some X’mas shopping there………..
