Tea Party on a Sunday Afternoon

I thought it would only happen in movies or story books. But in reality, it happens too! ( Such a Sua-ku I am, right ?!) Xandria extended her invitation for a tea party in her house.

I was contemplating whether I should go for the tea party because I had work to do.

I followed my heart and went to her house on Sunday afternoon. Partially is because Susan and Sean bake very well! Hmm..yummy yum...by just thinking of their pastries and cakes make me salivate…..

I arrived at her cozy home. I met up with the rest of her family members and also few of her friends.

There were so many different kinds of food on the dining table – ranging from scones, muffins, local kuih-muih, white & dark chocolate cheese cake and apple crumble. Yummylicious!!!

Scones!!!! They are my favorites! Just imagine this – a warm scone with butter being spread in the middle of it… Slowly, the melted butter seeped into the scone...ahh….yummers!!!!

I loved it !

We chatted over tea. It was a small gathering, but I’ve made a few new friends. After tea, Xandria showed us her parents’ younger days’ photos and also took us on a short tour around the house.

It was indeed a wonderful and different Sunday afternoon.

Cheers.
