Some thoughts..

As I was
saying about these:

Well, it is really not easy to deal with pain - the pain that is caused by others’ doings. You see, some people love to babble about themselves, their life’s happenings and so on, but little did they know some of those said items hurt others (somehow or rather).

(I am not being over sensitive here) I just rather not knowing it, at all.

Additionally, never say never. Never say that: you will never work with a lady boss (cos’ you will someday); never say you don’t like this kind of job (cos’ you might just end up doing it somehow).

Life is just so ironic and unexplainable. It is just the matter of someone handles and plans it well. Fate might come by, but it is you to materialize it with grabbing on to opportunities.

Amusing...

Scary....please wait to be EATED?
A cat with moustache?!! Cute.

A Night of Chats and Laughters

We met up for dinner last night. I bought him Japanese dinner, and later he suggested having a round of drinks at the nearby neighborhood pub. It was great to catch up on each other’s lives. We have known each other for a number of years ….

At the pub, I requested to have a few rounds of pool with him as it had been ages since I last touched and held a cue. The games were fun and great!

Later, we met and made friends with a few regulars there. They are nice and chatty people. I had a nice time mingling, talking to them and exchanging business cards. The pub is cozy. It has been there for almost 30 years but it was my first time stepping into the rustic looking pubbie. They thought I was his girlfriend initially, but I announced to them (loud and clear) that we are just good friends, and he has an awesome girlfriend. =)

Instead of having 2 jugs, we had more….shared out. I was feeling tipsy.

Happy juice = happy night

The waitress did a magic trick before we left!

How on earth did she do it? I wondered; we wondered.

It was past midnight. He is enjoying his long annual leave, but I have to work. So, we made a move. He made sure I reached home safely. Thank you dear friend, for the great fun night!

Someday...I will Meet You... :)

Two is Better Than One

I love this song!

Thoughts Running...

I need to get these out of me:

- Some things are better not to be known. At least it won’t hurt.
- Never say never.

I shall write more later tonight……

The Wedding Day that I will never Forget

Ahh…I did my work in the office till dinner time today (even though the work load and studies will never end) because I wanted to share with you the event that was announced last year.

It was a long, fully occupied weekend for me, especially Saturday….

….simple because it was our bestie’s BIG DAY. The happy day that we were all looking forward to.

Well……it didn’t quite turn out as how we planned it to be….The Royal Wedding.

We gathered together at her place as early as 9am that day. All of us dressed up according to the theme that our beloved bride requested for – RED. All of us looked great, HOT and happy, of course (perasannya).

I was really excited, yet was blur blur that day with all the 'rules and doings' as I had never being a Ji Mui before (not that I could recall; I was only a flower girl when I was a kid).

So let’s get back to what happened that day…

5th Fookie was getting ready in the room. Of course, while waiting for the groom to arrive, we had some photo session… with the bride, the Ji Muis and of course, me camwhoring..hahahhaha…..

Check them out!

One more missing....

The corsages for us

Of course, when it was the ‘auspicious time’ to ‘jip san leong’ (direct translation of ‘pick up the bride’), all of the ji muis went downstairs to ‘welcome’ the groom and his ‘Heng Dais’ (brothers); with some fun torture, of course!

Well, let me show you a preview of the props….

Okay, it was a really easy one for them… We were only allocated with 30 minutes, so we couldn’t play anything too fanciful. So, the first one was wearing disposable panties and writing “I love you, Filonessa”. He had to find ways fitting the alphabets on only 7 panties with a marker pen.

The second game was really funny. One of the Brothers had to volunteer to put on the bra and later I stuffed a baby bottle, filled with blended bitter gourd with milk for the groom to bottoms up by sucking the tits..oopps…I mean the pacifier.

Very quickly, missions accomplished! Guess they were to eager to get the bride. Hahahhaa….

It was the usual ritual for the second part – at the main door. The groom took out his sets of keys, but we, being the sisters and protector, (kinda broke the keychain) snatched the keys away….and we refused to let them in until we received a reasonable priced ang pow…..

Lastly, I made the groom to shout and confessed his love LOUDLY before I finally opened the bedroom door, while 5th Fookie was seated calmly, waiting for her love.

At last, barriers after barriers, the couple stepped out from the room, hand in hand….we were in joy!

Tea ceremony took place – at both places. I shall not babble too much on this part.

We took a few group shots after the tea ceremony at the groom’s house and after catching the hand bouquet. (I don’t have the photos with me at this moment, but I will share them with you when I get them)

But, we had this groupie photo. One of our beasties was away for a business trip….we missed you, 3rd Fookie! Wished you were there with us…….

Evening came.

We met up again. This time at Saujana Hotel. There were some minor errands to run and getting everything in order for the bride. One thing very coincidently happened was that the bride had this room to use – which was also the same room (1210) where we stayed in to usher 2009 last year!

At the suite, we camwhored!

We were there for the vows exchange even though it was pouring cats and dogs out there.

What a bliss being part of the whole event…

I shall let the remaining photos tell you the rest of the night…..

Congratulations to both of you! We love you, Filo! We are really happy for you. ;)
*there were many photos taken by the professional photographer..be patient ya!

Spidey Santa

A cool sight eh?! I spotted them this afternoon........

Honesty Brings..... (what)?

(Now, I am just sitting around waiting for time to leave the house for dinner…..yum yum)

What an honest (or modesty) marketing strategy to sell this……..

Will you want to have one?

24th of Dec Month

Christmas eve.

It was a rough day in the office today despite it was quiet and I felt that air-conditioning was colder as compared to the normal days. Most of the people were on leave.

I was in the office whole of today with my boss. I was meant to go out for my usual weekly routine, but not today. I only went out with my boss close to 5.30pm. We were done by 6.30pm.

So, I went to run some errands and later took a drive to Sexytary’s house for a Christmas party. Mamma Mia was the chef of the night! Checked out what she prepared for all of us!

The Olio was awesome. Wow, just one too many yummy food lying on the tables. Couldn't decide which one to eat first. I was practically eating the whole night, munched and munched on them….. hmmmm….satisfying!

We counted down to 12am and wished everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS! We exchanged hugs and pressies, of course.

Right before I left, the homemade fruit cake that I bought was still uncut. They said it was too beautiful and cute to be destroyed (by cutting into slices). Hahhahaa….I told them to just cut it and share among themselves.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Have a great one ya.

P/S: this year will be another different Christmas experience for me.

Makan and Drink

Over the long weekend, I was busy….having fun and spending time with my friends.

We went for a scrumptious dinner in Sentul one of the nights. A restaurant that serves yummy-licious, famous food at a very reasonable price. It is packed (till you sit at the verandah), so it is better to always call and book for a table.

Belacan fried chicken wings
Butter-ed prawns

Anyhow, a night is never complete without some happy juice!

I had my share.

Cheers!

I enjoyed the night scenary that night...

Busy but Joyful Week Ahead

This week is a busy week for me. There is only 4 working days and nights for me again.

I had this week all planned out. (Well, this reminds me of my friends always say I am a planner….maybe it’s just me…adding to my new job, lagi I have to practice my planning skills and implementation) No qualms. Fret not!

So anyway, I had half day training yesterday and went out to do my stores coverage in the afternoon. At night, I met up with Fookies to discuss about the upcoming big day!

I am starting to take on my new role. Today I have a new task to do and it’s the start of the learning curve for me. Besides that, I had whole day trainings at 2 different venues. After work, I rushed for my manicure appointment. I had to do it earlier as I will have to attend my sales director’s farewell dinner tomorrow (I got to know it last minute). I had to cancel my planned dinner appointment with an old friend.

Pink base French Manicure

So, tomorrow will be another day of training and meeting with my mentor in the evening.

Thursday, I will have to visit my buyer’s outlets and this time, my mentor is going with me. ;) At night, I will be attending a Christmas Eve party! Yay! It will be filled with joy and laughter and FOOD!!!! Yum yum……

Friday?! Duh, it is Christmas day….

Saturday? You will know soon….

Stay tuned!

The Roadside's Happening

While I was on my way home after getting some personal stuff from the nearby pharmacy, I witnessed something and was wondering what the actual happenings were…..

It happened near to a bus stop. There was a black Honda City stopped by the road side, along with a silver color Kancil. There were 3 of them there – 1 girl and 2 boys, all Malays. It seemed like a heated argument happened and the girl was separating both guys. The guy who drives the Kancil walked back to the car and was about to drive off; waiting for the girl to get in. The Honda guy pulled the girl with force. She quickly flung her arm and hopped into the Kancil and slammed the door. I saw the poor Honda guy picked up something on the road….was it a ring, I thought? He seemed very furious.

Looking at the situation, my first assumption (impression) was that the girl dumped the Honda guy and went off with another person (without having a clean break up) or it could be her brother who tried to protect her (I am not sure). OR the Honda guy found out she is seeing someone else behind his back?

But, only they themselves know what has just happened.

Break ups can be tedious and heartbreaking, but there are many ways to ‘announced or break the news’ of “I want to break off with you or I don't love you anymore”. Do it properly, do it professionally. Be fair to others.

It has been awhile…..

…since we last went out together.

Even though it was a short outing, but it was definitely fun and we bonded even better; better than just greeting each other and hugging in the mornings after we wake up…

I love you!
