It was one different experience.
Besides being the “tourist”, thanks to KY, I clubs hopped (or I shall say WE clubs hopped) that night.
We went to St. James. First, we walked into Movida. KY foot the cover charge for us and each of us had one free drink.
I have to say it was my very first time stepping my foot into a club in Singapore.
The ambience of Movida was quite nice and relaxing. It wasn’t with overly loud-annoying-music. The air in there was fresher; so as it was cooler too as smoking was prohibited in clubs.
There was a Spanish band in the house. Pretty good band! The band consists of 3 hot Spanish ladies and 1 male singer; who looks like those Bollywood actor. Great dancers, powerful voices!
I love Spanish/ Latin songs. Somehow I find them very sensual.
After being intoxicated by a mug of beer, we moved on to another club.
Firefly. And then Power House....
But, there wasn’t much in there. Chinese songs were playing when we stepped in.
The thing about St. James is that there are a few clubs together. Just located side by side. Cool eh?! Easy and convenient.
Next, we went to Boiler Room. There, we found fun!
We were there early and 12 midnight was the usual performance. We lepak-ed and we boozed a little. KY explained and warned me not to look at the “performer” when “S-him” performs. “S-him” is a guy who dresses like a diva (in dresses and bling-blings) and gets the patrons to go on stage. “S-him” will then say and do “crude” acts with the people on stage with him. It could get quite embarrassing. So, it was a matter of live or death, avoid eye-contact with shim!!!!!
We laughed throughout the night when we were there. True enough, “Shim” fooled around with the 2 special invited guys on stage. “Shim” touched their little brother as part of the penalty when they failed to follow shim’s act. Both guys who shim invited were good looking! One of them was a Filipino and the other was a Taiwanese. (My camera batt went flat, so I couldn't take any photos of the Shim)
We were standing right in front of the stage, and also I had a very good view of the guys!
*Cuci-mata session*
I was practically salivating ; standing below the stage…..Hahahahahaha….
It wasn’t too late when we’ve decided to call it a night. KY brought me for a yummy-licious supper at Upper Thompson Rd. I practically wanted to order almost everything on the menu! It is a café which serves desserts, toasts, noodles, and ice cold drinks – same concept as Kim Gary!
We left the cafe with a full-satisfying-tummy.
