I dashed into the cubicle and closed the door.
There, I heard one of my colleagues talking on her mobile phone. The conversation ended after a minute or two.
Yes, in the cubicle I had a thought.
*(a little inspiration to this blog entry)
I know it’s a dog-eat-dog world out there and it is also very materialistic. Time and tide wait for no man (or women ;) ). Everyone rushes day-in-day-out desperately to earn as much money/ business as possible; especially during this recession period and economic crisis.
But then again….
Trying to close a business in a cubical? Or proposing a big plan?
It is just me being paranoid or what, I find it quite disgusting to have a conversation in the cubicle. Can you imagine being inhaled the germs and bacteria while talking? Worse case is what if the mobile phone dropped into the bowl by accident? EEeeeeeEEE……. (or is it a good reason to change to a newer, slimmer model)
*shivers*
Okay, back to business.
In general, is there any sincerity by talking to a client or customer when the other party hears either the echo caused by the enclosed cubicle or the sound of the rushing water in the toilet bowl?
Can’t we wait for a few minutes till our business is over to talk real business?
Just wondering, will a flush cause a business to be flushed down the toilet bowl, literally?
Ciao!
