Karma

“Don’t do what you don’t want others to do to you.”

This is my line; what I always say to others (when needed).

Karma is the word, in short. Karma’s general concept is the results of one’s deeds or actions create the past, present and future experiences in life. This makes one responsible for his/her own life. The returns of the deeds may not be now or ten years down the road, but it might be the next generation or so on…….

I had tea in Mid Valley today. The bill came up to RM27.85. I handed 3 pieces of red notes to the waiter. Later another waiter brought back the change in the closed leather pad and he walked away.

I opened it and saw there were 3 red notes.

I could have just pretended to take the change and walk off, took at as a free meal. But I didn’t. If I did so, the poor waiter will have to pay for the difference at the end of the day. What if one day it happened on me, I thought?

I walked up to the cashier and explained. He thanked me and gave me back the correct change.

I smiled and walked out of the café. I knew I've made the right move.
