It was quite a stressful day in the office today. Time passed so darn fast yet didn’t get to complete much of my work. Table was in a mess, in-tray was getting higher and higher, a big stack of invoices to sign, reports to rush (my dearest deadline is tomorrow).
What can I say?
Sigh. Only to sigh……
Couldn’t work late coz I was invited for a farewell dinner. Yes, another one of my dearest colleague is leaving for the better.
Toastie was the very first person to give me curly hair. Toastie did a good job and it was out of my expectation. Since it was my first time ever to get my straight hair turned into curly locks, how not to be scared; not to worry?
This was how my hair like back then.
And so, we headed to Klang for dinner. It was one of those nights filled with laughter and joy. But after this dinner, there will be less one person in the gang laughing at anything, everything under the “sun & moon” or to share our stress and joy. A missing partner during Karaoke session, singing our songs, My Heart Will Go On and Bleeding Love.
Even though it was a 3 hours long dinner (even longer than a wedding dinner), but I enjoyed and cherished it very much (despite the fact of knowing I have work on hand to clear).
I will definitely miss Toastie’s presence in the office.
I wish Toastie all the best with the future undertakings.
