This is a reminder.
When we are in a restaurant, we always look at the next table’s food. While checking out the delicious- looking- food, we would think that the dishes ordered are definitely more yummylicious than ours.
As cliché as it sounds, the grass on the opposite looks greener.
When we walk around in a shopping mall, we observe and notice the people around us; the couples dating there. One thing that will come to mind is: how happy is the couple or their compatibility depicts on their faces.
Another common thought is that husband would think other men’s wife is better than their own. Do they know what the true colors are of those “Stepford Wives”?

But….
Deep down inside, how true is it?
Is it just purely envy? We shouldn’t compare our life to others’; because we have zero idea on their journey in life, if it is close to perfection or stormy behind closed door. Plus, envy and being a green eye monster is a waste of time. Why not use the energy on something more beneficial? Plus, we already have all we need. Contented and cherish should be the words.
Forgetting issues in the past and take it as a learning process. Life is a “society university” and we are here to learn. Curriculum for the day will be the problems we face in a day. However, the painful and torturous session will end and fade away like physics class, but ultimately the lesson learnt last a life time. (Will you forget how to hold a chopstick even though you didn’t use it for years? No, it remains in us.)
Life is too short to keep anger (the burning torch) and hatred in us. Forgive those who have sinned against us and we will be happier. By having the anger and frustrations in us just make us a ugly person in others’ eyes. (It will also make us age faster!)
Keep negative thoughts or things that are beyond our control away from us. Our mind is a very powerful tool in all of us. We will never be able to achieve anything if we pull ourselves down with not-so-positive thoughts. Try visualizing something and see if you get it (just a matter of time and how much you desire for it).
Why lay pressure on our own shoulders? Don’t be too serious at times as no one does take you serious. We are responsible for our own happiness and the coming path in life. No one else but ourselves. If unhappiness and depression are the frequent vocabs that appear in our life, no one else to be blamed but ourselves. The self- inflicted misery that might affect others. Haven’t you heard of “Chain Reaction” ?
Laughter is the best medicine; so as when we smile and stay cheerful, the glow in us will be as bright as the sun, hanging and shining high up in the sky.
