………… used to be a significant date for me. I used to anticipate the date with joy, or even every 5th of the month. It was the day that I embarked on a sweet journey in my life. It was the day I started to share my life with someone who I thought we would have many more years to come and moving forward together……If we were still an item, it would be 6 years of thick-&-thin; frowns and laughter shared between us. But, life is just so unpredictable..isn't it?
I no longer look forward to the 5th nor is it important to me. All has turned to memories...........
It is just an ordinary day for me…this year’s 5th February was just a super-duper-busy-meetings-back-to-back day for me.
It all started with clearing my work in the morning; one task at the time. Then, later it moved on to an in-house CNY lunch. Lots of food and Lou Hei was served.
A quick lunch, I had. Thought I was able to do some work before the management meeting…but….
…..last minute, Big Boss called for a short sharing session. At 2pm, we had our management meeting. The meeting room turned into a pressure cooker….
Thank goodness, the meeting finished at 3pm. Some of the head of departments were no longer required in the room. It was left with the CBD and Marketing team in the room. We needed to put our heads together to plan and discuss on upcoming projects. By the time we were really done and stepped out from the cooker, it was already 5pm.
Ah… I finally got to sit down at my place and continued with my work…
