A Hot and Sweet Day

It was a HOT, SWEET Valentine’s Day for me. My Saturday started when I got disturbed by the house phone ringing non-stop at 11.30am. Everyone was out except for me sleeping in on a Saturday. I crawled to the phone like Ring- O and picked it up. I tried to catch some sleep thereafter.....but....

So, after being abruptly disturbed by the phone call, I got out of bed and washed up. Did a bit of work before I went out for lunch nearby. I wanted to travel a lil further beyond my house’s vicinity for lunch, but the traffic at 1.30pm was horrendous. I wondered was it because of it was a working Saturday or was it because it was Valentine’s Day that everyone just wanted to spend a day out?

It was a terribly hot day. The heat from the sun was piercing through my skin. Perspiration was all over...

After lunch, I played with Gabby for a little while. I hugged and cuddled her. It was Valentine’s Day after all… Best time to shower her with more love. Later, I went out for a drink and made it back on time for mass.

My sisters and I met up for dinner. A scrumptious and super-delicious dinner it was. The best part was that the food was good and price was reasonable! That’s what we normally would expect from a restaurant, right?

Over dinner, our conversations were just endless. Sharing of daily updates, jokes and funny experiences that we had….

We adjourned for drinks at a café to continue our hearty chats. As usual, we laughed so hard that we kind of forgotten there were others around us (so we had to control our volume a lil'). Each of us ordered a different kind of drink. Check them out!

The night ended with a smile on each of our face. Validator passed us each a Tupperware with red bean kuih in it. They were made by her sister; and they were yummy!
