The Beginning of my Weekend

Friday night - I met up with Carebear for dinner. It was our regular diner that we went to. She waited for me as I was stuck in a bad traffic jam. The night started to drizzle, that’s why. I had a great dinner. I had my favourite Strawberry & mix berries smoothie. This time round, I tried Seadfood Udon and we shared Fried Chicken Wings.

Yummy!!!!!!

I know my weekend had started…as normally it starts with FOOD!

It was pouring heavily when it was time to go home….I was stuck in another jam….

My Short Adventure - Part V - Sunrise & Farewell

I took a 2 hours nap before sunrise.

I woke up, washed up, clad in T-shirt and shorts, off I went to chase after sunrise.

I thought I was able to greet Mr Sun. But I failed. I ran from building to building, thinking that it could be the buildings blocking the sun. But no…it was just way on the other side of town.

But anyhow, I didn’t waste my chance…I took a couple of snapshots still…..

Breaking dawn

Before I bid goodbye to Port Dickson, I told myself that I will definitely make a trip back here. I know there are still many places yet to be explored.

Without a doubt, I will be back!

Diva’s conclusion: There are so many first time(s) in my life. For the first time, I drove a Honda City. For the first time, I went to a place with 0 directions or knowledge on the route to the destination. For the first time, I traveled with another person; a friend who is true to me, at least.

My Short Adventure - Part IV - The Night

As the night falls, that’s when the fun started…….

The night started with dinner, and then followed with beer and chats with laughter……

We took a break of the drinks we brought and went into the cool room. We watched TV, movies after movies on Astro’s channels; while munching on our supper!

MAMEE!!!!

The clock was showing 3am and I opened the sliding door; I walked out. I stood by the wooden railing and enjoyed the pure serenity with the cooling breeze blowing.

The soothing and peaceful feeling was what I had. Sat on the green cloth deck chair on the extended –on-stilts balcony. The waves were hitting the shores hard as the night passed. The sky was clear and pitch dark and there were stars, just like girls’ best friend.

I made a wish……….

My Short Adventure - Part III

After checking out the local beach at Teluk Kemang, Simmy dropped us back at the hotel. I took the chance to walk around the hotel and check out the place before the sky turned dark.

The hotel was really a serene place; full of greenery and sunlight seeping in through the leaves.

At the deck, as the sun was setting, Carebear snapped a photo of me!

Awesome! Amazing!

Sunset by the deck

Along the way, we saw a peacock wandering around freely.

Carebear and I were afraid of the huge peacock; hence I quickly zoomed in, snapped and walked away….far far away from the big bird.

Along the way back to our chalet, we asked the one of the hotel staff if there is a spa centre. He directed us to the spa centre.

This was what we saw!!!!!!!!

WOW…! A glass-house looking spa centre! I fell in love with this glass house instantly.

You’ll know what I mean when you see this………

My dream house

So, Carebear and I waltzed through the glass door. We screened through the menu and decided to try their foot reflexology. The price set for it was really sky high, but for the sake of experience and indulgence, we went for it. The interior of the place was really nice and pretty. Completely 110% comfort.

Before we sat down on the cozy cushion chair, we grabbed the opportunity to capture the beautiful sunset – at this open air round sofa. It was the most beautiful moment that I’ve seen, with my very own eyes!

Nice, right?!

The masseurs were waiting for us. =p

Quickly, we sat on the chair and so the massage started……the whole reflexology session lasted for 30 minutes. Carebear took a nap while I had my eyes wide opened. I didn’t want to waste a minute – I just stared into the from light -amber- color- to -dark- blue- sky….

My Short Adventure - Part II

Ok, here is the continuation of my adventure in Port Dickson.

We lepakked in the room for about 15 minutes…till we received a call…..

Our friend, Simmy, picked us up from Avillion’s main entrance. We hopped into her car and off we went! Simmy wanted to bring us to the best local coffee shop for tea. But unfortunately, it was already 3.30pm and the shop was already closed for the day. So instead, we went to another coffee shop – the more commercialized one.

After some toast and a cuppa coffee, Simmy drove us to Shell Refinery. The place was huge- the large sprawling industrial complexes with extensive piping running throughout.

Can you see the fire burning and a plane flying pass?

I got all excited as I’ve never been to an oil refinery. The office was closed but we managed to drive in for a round. After the “short and legal tour”, we left. At the traffic light, I spotted this!!!

WOW…that road was actually named JALAN SHELL !!!!!!

After the totally new eye opener, Simmy drove us to another interesting place. I've never knew Port Dickson would have this beauty!!!

Check it out and I shall tell you where it is….

Admiral Marina Bay

I love the place! It gives me an “oversea” feeling. I felt as if I was at a foreign country or I really own a yacht. I also felt as if I was a rich “tai-tai” or “princess” for a moment! Hmm…..I was practically living in a dream – for that 30 minutes.

The English looking window and fan....hmm...

Pump your petrol here

*Slap..Slap* Back to reality.

I don’t own any yacht but these beautiful photos……….

….To be continued again…. More to come, I promise!

I need to go out now! Ciao!
