I packed up and rushed home. Thank goodness there were some food at home. I gobbled down a few mouthful of spaghetti and boiled broccolis. Rushed into the shower and got ready.
I was invited to attend an event at Euphoria by Mozzie. I sent a text message to Xandria that I would be running late because I was still blowing my hair with the diffuser at 9pm. I was supposed to meet her at 9.20pm. She was cool about it. (I got to know that she was going the day before as Yuri was performing) Yay!
And so, I drove “safely” to Towers Hotel. I went against traffic and “stalked” this couple who was walking to their car. *Grin* I had no choice but to do that. So, I managed to get a parking lot. I strutted to the hotel lobby and waited for Xandria. The 3 of us – Xandria, Yuri and I walked to the club next door. Xandria and I showed our presence at the registration area and received our door gift by Chivas.
A Chivas glass and a diary in the bag
It was a Chivas event – Live with Chivalry.
Ok, here is the super pai seh part of the event. It was photo opportunity at the grand Chivas backdrop. There were 3 photographers with their canggih super SLR cameras, zooming in and out. Xandria invited me to have a photo with her there! OMG, I panicked and I think I got really nervous (come on, who wouldn’t? Stand beside a celebrity and strike a pose?!). I think I screwed up the photo. I didn’t realize how my pose was, how did I stand or how my flabby arms would show in the photo! Sigh, so called “Diva”?! Not at that moment. I supposed I was intimidated. I was scared.
Ok, so after getting my eyes almost blinded by the flashes, (I think the poor photographers were struggling to get a nice photo – simply because of my so-not professional pose, so they had to shoot so many times) it was finally done.
I called Mozzie and met up with him. So, the 3 of us walked in.
It was a very enjoyable performance by Yuri, Dennis Lau and DJ Blink; except for a hiccup when Yuri was playing the electric guitar. The plug point somehow failed. No electric guitar cos’ no power supply.
I wandered around Euphoria. I had a couple of drinks with Mozzie and his friends. I got to know a few new friends that night. I also caught up with Xandria for awhile after Yuri’s performance. Chit chatted and of course, captured quite a bit of snapshots!

I have to say Chivas spent quite a big budget on this event. It wasn’t a launch but just a building brand awareness campaign. The emcee for the night was Joey G. There were a large acrylic cube on the stage and the top management of Chivas officiate the campaign by slotting in acrylic plates into the cube – just like slotting the hotel card into the card reader. There were performers dressed in “transformers” looking costumes and walking on stilts.
It was a nice event to be at. Free flow of drinks by Chivas and heaps of friends there - just chatting (ok, more like shouting), shakin’ the booty and chik-chaking the whole night. Not bad, right?
With some hot chicks
With Celina

I gave myself a curfew till 12am. So called Cinderella. But no, I left the place close to 2.30am. I wasn’t greedy, I "returned" what I "took" from Chivas. I “deposited” them back in the ladies' bowl before I left.
Out at the open air area, taking a breather
Head was spinning. I drove home. Slowly. Carefully.
I hit the bed once I was home. I couldn’t do anything else except to wash up.......
