A Foodie & Footie Night

It was a FUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of F@#* (Fun, Food and Football) night for me today.

WHY?

B'cos……firstly I went for dinner with my bunch of food lovers. Mamma Mia, Dave and Sexytary picked me up from my house then we headed to PJ. We met up with Dino and Arrow at this Chinese restaurant at PJ State (Didn’t see the name, but it is behind Lotus and CIMB bank).

Here was what we ordered. 1kg of sweet and sour crabs with man tou, a plate of veg, their specialty fried tofu, fried yee mee with pai kuat and a plate of belacan fried rice, ikan bakar, rojak and a pot of tea.

We had great chats and laugh over dinner. It is almost our weekly routine. Great way to spend a Saturday night, isn’t it? Exploring food places with a group of great people.

And guess what, the bill came up to RM 108 only. Relatively reasonable!

After the great enjoyable dinner, we adjourned to a café. We joined Dino and Arrow for football. Yup, football game between MU and Fulham in the English League.

Me, being a No-No football fan actually sat there for 35 minutes watching the game. It was actually my very first time watching a football game! I’ve never had the interest to watch 22 men going after a ball. I just don’t see the logic in it. So instead of watching the men and their kicking skills, I tried cuci mata a bit. I was checking out who is the cute one in both teams…Hahahhaha…..

Even though I am neither on any team, I somehow started to get excited when one team almost scored a goal!

We said our goodbyes to Dino and Arrow when the clock almost stroke 12. The score was 1-0.

It was a fun, full (tummy) and footie night!

Ciao!
