How many?

Topic of the day: How many women does a man have to date before settling down; and vice versa?

This was the topic they had over Mix Breakfast this morning. I didn’t get to listen to the whole discussion as I needed to enter the office for work.

Have you ever ponder how many partners someone would have before really tying the knot with someone? How many girlfriends would a guy have before really letting go his bachelor days to be a husband to his "loved one"? 1, 2, 5, 10, 20? Is the ratio for a girl lower as compared to guys?

How do you know that the person you are with IS the ONE for you? Based on gut feeling, the compatibility, the number of years being together or other reasons? How can someone determine the “seriousness” in committing a relationship forever? Of course, nowadays signing both papers are easy – to be husband and wife and divorcing each other later.
