I had a simple, light lunch and got ready. I hit the LDP and made my way to Starbucks.
It was Susan’s birthday party. I was invited for it.
When I stepped into Starbucks, I greeted Sean and he informed me that it was upstairs. Alex and Yuri were already there. We exchanged hugs and greetings. I was introduced to Eric, the boss of Starbucks. Alex was drawing a huge card for Susan (*So sweet of him*). While he was touching up on the card, I put down my wishes and signed off.
The sky turned gloomy, but the venue was filled with warmth and happiness. The place was filled with laughter and joy.

It was a surprise party for Susan. Xandria and family planned it for her. The people around were family and friends. A small yet meaningful party. She totally wasn’t aware of this arrangement. She was so touched when she saw all of us stood around and shouted: “Surprise!!!!!” We sang her the conventional birthday song. She made a wish before she blew off the candles. One of her friends, Penny, specially baked her a cheesecake. It was super-yummylicious.
I had an enjoyable time there, eating and chatting. Of course, I also enjoyed the Starbucks’ coffee…..
