The Melodramatic Friday 13th

Just as I was blogging this morning about how today is Friday 13th and I was dressed in pink to “chong hei” a little…..

Let me tell you about my day in the office – or shall I call it the “battlefield”?

My melodramatic morning started at 10.30am. It started after a meeting about the upcoming project…..I received emails from regional office on instructions to run 2 promotions locally. It wasn’t clear and there were so many question marks above my head. Emails were sent back and forth to clarify on matters and details. In between, I also received an email to do something which the regional head found it complicated. “You asked me to do something that you find complicated? And what makes you think I can do it?”, I was thinking in my heart….

Clock was showing 12 noon.

I didn’t bother to reply that email and carried on with my other tasks. I didn’t have the mood to drive out all the way for lunch, so I tumpang my colleague to tapau for me.

Later, when my manager came back in the afternoon, I made noise to her. She was supportive by telling me to just focus on my priorities and leave that out. *Phew* What a relieve. I was glad that my manager understood that there are so much on my plate.

Before my manager left for her appointment later in the afternoon again, I told her that I will be colouring my hair later in the evening. She was cool about it and told me to take a break….. *Grin*

So, I’ve changed my hair color today.

Friday 13th wasn’t that bad after all……

Oh yeah, and guess what I had for dinner? A plate of nasi lemak (I cleaned up the entire plate), a big jug of ice honey lemon with aloe vera and a plate of fried onion rings. I am so stuffed now!
