It was a bright, cheery and sunny Saturday afternoon. I started on my short “expedition”. I went to this café which looked pretty nice (from the outside) to hang out for tea. And so, I pushed the wooden framed glass door and walked into this cozy café in Damansara Uptown. The deco is simple and it gives a comfortable “American high school canteen” ambience if you were to sit on the bench.
Wonder Milk is the name of this café. It specializes in cupcakes. There is various kinds of cupcakes on the trays in the glass shelves. So colorful, so cheery.
These were what I ordered:
Foxy Red Velvet (L), Coffee Circus (R) and Peanut Butter Jelly Wonder(back)
The cupcakes are quite pricey. Each maxi sized (considered still quite small) cupcake is priced at RM 4.50 whilst the minis are RM 5 for 4 pieces. I find the ones I ordered a lil' too sweet for me. I also ordered Beef Rasher and Cheese Baked Potato. Quite yummy!!! The beef tasted unlike the normal bacon and a creamy top coated potato it was. It is RM 7.90 for a baked potato.
To complement them, I had Mango Soda.
Wonder Milk Café also takes order for catering. They have a thick book of special menu for most occasions. Different types of cupcakes for different kind of celebration.
And I saw the perfect cupcakes for my bestie’s hen’s night!!!!!!

It was a costly afternoon tea but for the first time experience and my taste buds, I didn’t mind. I had a great time lepaking there...
