Once Upon My "Blue Eyes"

Once upon a time, I had blue eyes…. I miss them!!!

Turn Back Time

Do you wish that you can turn back time sometimes?

The Art of Cooking

I don’t know how to cook well but I love doing it at times. To me, being in the kitchen is as if being in the lab experiment-ing the different taste for the buds and palette. I love it! Cooking is not only putting the right ingredients together and the skills and experience, but also cook with feelings and love. I noticed the mood when cooking is crucial cos' the food will definitely taste better when the chef is happy and cheerful.

Will you dare to try it someday?

A bonus "Sabbath" Day is coming soon...

Hmm….just one more day away, the long weekend will be here….

Labour Day holiday!

Yay! Can’t wait, can’t wait! Hmm…what should I do over the long weekend? Let me start thinking and plan…..

A little gift sent by a business associate.
Can you see it is a shape of a spaceship?
In the spaceship, there were 2 little robots.
I gave them to MG for her lil baby boy to play with.

Cheery Cheerio

Good morning, everybody!

It is going to be a heavy Wednesday for me as there will be a 3 hours telecon later in the morning till lunch hour. I would have to kau tim the translation and some other paper work before I go for the meeting, then continue with my reports and planning thereafter. A long day but I hope it is gonna be a short day as I would have already spent half a day listening to HQ taking us through the project.

Camwhoring early in the morning. Please excuse me.

Despite having this in mind, I still feel up and cheery, somehow…… Maybe it is the long weekend approaching! *Ngiek ngiek ngiek*

Have a happy working day, everyone!

Cheerio!

Giving a hand with the handbag

Okay, I was at the cinema with one of my besties couple of weeks back. While we were queuing up to get our all time favorite snack – popcorns, I couldn’t resist but to capture this.

I could never understand why and how can a man carry a handbag- due to 1 reason -he helped his girlfriend or wife. Is it because of love and as a voluntarily act? Is it because the lady asked him for a favour? I would never ask my partner to do that for me.

But, anyway I couldn’t resist and I looked around the waiting lounge. I finally spotted that yellow T-shirt guy with the yellow handbag met up with his wife/girlfriend. She was sitting at the couch waiting for him to purchase snacks; empty handed. No kids, no baby in her arms. Hmm…..

Do you think a man should help his partner carry her handbag?

*Updated thought: Maybe next time the guy can demand to buy which branded handbag they want, so can gaya a bit...More branded branding on them instead of just a wallet.....hahahhahahaha*

Can't Smile Without You

Imagine Gabby singing this to me this way.....

Hahahahahahaha......

A No- Turning -Back- Mistake

Sometimes in life, we make mistakes stupidly. However, when we realized it was a mistake – no matter whether it was a minor or serious one, we apologize (it might or might not be accepted by others or if one can even make it up to the other party) and we then have to move on……..

Sometimes some things in life cannot be unwind; as we can’t turn back time; we can’t erase it off one’s mind what we’ve said or done to hurt the person; a beautiful vase will have a crack (or even broken into lil’ pieces) after dropping it to the ground; intentionally or accidently...

Yes, it can happen to anyone of us…

At times in life we just have to pay for the mistakes we've made.

The Words That Made Me Thought Twice

I walked into the room this morning. The intention was to clarify and update on the happenings. I sat down and suddenly, unexpectedly, I heard these words:

“I feel that there is a little too much on your plate. You are overwhelmed with too many projects on hand. I know there are too many projects happening concurrently. Even if you work till 11pm everyday, you won’t be able to finish it. I feel that some of the projects can be passed on to MG. She will be able to help you out so that you can focus on what you are doing. How do you feel about it?”

“Thank you, boss. Yeah, I am alright with the arrangement.”

“Ok, I will talk to you and MG in detail tomorrow.”

“Alrighty, thank you.”

I walked out thereafter.

I was happy to hear that. I was happy to know that my boss is actually an observant and a considerate person. I was happy for the moment; but later a thought came to mind….A thought which made me thought twice. And now, I think I refused to think about and believe the latter thought…….

It Didn't Happen.......

Guess what?!

I anticipated to be leaving on time today (since morning). But….as usual, it never did happen or I’ve never materialized it.

7.30pm was the time that I left work. Sigh……

Anyway, the day passed by quite fast because I was busy with work. Cleared one task after another. Well, at least I threw the ball back to the agency to work on for me after the check…
=)

Feeling quite tired today and hopefully I will have a peaceful rest later tonight.

Cheerio!

A Slow, Tired Start

I felt as if I have slept for a long time. I opened my eyes slowly and reached out for my mobile phone. The digital needle was pointing at 4am. I went back falling deep into slumberland….till 6am.

I hauled myself out from bed. I was somehow still feeling tired despite going to bed at 11pm last night. I wonder why? Got myself ready, carried my stuff to the car, and drove to office.

I hope today will be a quick and short day in the office. I would like to go home on time.

Have a nice day, everyone!

A Hot Lazy Sunday

It was rather a lazy Sunday for me today. I went back snoozing after my alarm rang for the first time. I was dreaming. I finally woke up at 11am. Walked down the stairs and found Ma watching TV whilst Gabby was sleeping.

I went back upstairs, got ready and headed out for lunch with my parents in PJ. It had been a really long long long time since I last ate there. The prawn noodles was still as good as I could recall.

Ran some errands after lunch and headed home. I wanted to do some of my office work, but I was sleepy. So, I didn’t care much and went to bed. Ahh…..so comfortable with the air-con blowing on a super hot day. I slept through till 5.30pm and pulled myself out from bed. I took my car to the near by petrol station for a wash. It was really dirty without a wash for the past 2 weeks!

Later at night, I met up with MoneyMagnetBabe for dinner. We caught up with the recent happenings in our lives. A good session indeed!

With a blink of an eye, it is Monday soon. Ahh….my enjoyable, long awaited weekend has passed. But, fret not, the weekend will be here in the next 4 days!

Ciao!

A Similarity Between Us

When I was younger, I used to love standing in between the 2 front seats to get the best view of the outside. Gabby has the same similarity as me, actually! She loves to stick her head in between the driver and passenger seat too!

Check it out!

She surely resembles me sometimes…Hahaha…..

On the way out...

An Endless Food Afternoon

Yesterday was a bottomless boozing night; today was an endless eating afternoon.

So, in order to kill the guilty feeling in me, I headed to the gym at 8.30am this morning. I went to burn some calories despite having a slight headache or shall I call it hang over? I couldn’t identify it.

Anyway, after doing some workout, I rushed home to give Gabby a good bath. Thereafter, I got myself ready and left the house to pick up my laptop from the office. Then, I drove to the Towers Hotel in Sunway. Parked my car and strutted to the lobby.

At Atrium Café and Lounge, I met up with Arrow, Dino, and later Mamma Mia and Sexytary. We started our makan-makan session from 1pm to 4pm. Yes, we fully utilized the whole Hi-Tea duration. =)

Here was my "journey" for my beloved taste buds: (Psst! The food variety and taste are way better than Sun & Surf's)

Dim sum and sliced beef salad

Cute, right? Mushrooms and french beans

"Customised" dry noodles

Braised duck- recommended to try

Mushroom soup- recommended to try

My saver of the day - Green tea to clear the oil

Whole-grained sandwich

Rice with beef rendang (recommended to try) and veg

The last thing I had....

After spending 4 hours stuffing my stomach with the yummy-licious food, we did some window shopping (that was what I thought we intended to do) at Sunway Pyramid. Ended up, I bought a set of working clothes, which is flexible to create several sets of mix-and-match outfits.

I had to excuse myself at 7.20pm in order to meet up with my parents for dinner. Hence, I drove home, fed Gabby and headed out for dinner (I didn’t eat as I was still very very full; I just accompanied them).

Later after driving my parents back home, I headed out to PJ. I was at Carebear’s house. We went to Station One for yum char session. There, we chatted till almost midnight…..

It was time to go home as I was feeling a little tired from the early start of my day.

Bottomless Night Out

Remember how I was blogging about my anticipation? Yes, the day finally came.

After clearing up most of my work for the day, I packed up and left. Took a drive to Sweetie’s house and picked her up. It has been quite awhile since we last met up. We caught up with the recent happenings in our life – from work, love life to friends.

We tried this new place, where both of us haven’t been to. Café Chulo in Jaya One. I saw the place from downstairs during the day and thought it looked pretty cool as there is an open area upstairs to lepak. So, the both of us finally got to experience and tried it out.

I actually kinda like the place. Not too crowded and they play house music, plus the service there is not too bad. At first, we thought it was a purely drinking place, but we were wrong. They actually serve food; the menu and price is relatively quite alright. The best part was their happy hour is actually up to 10pm!

And so, taking the advantage of the “longer” happy hour, Sweetie and I shared 2 jugs of beer. I ordered Chicken Paella and she had Seafood Pasta.

Bottomless booze

My remaining Chicken Paella (portion was huge)
We chatted and chatted till about midnight and we decided to make a move. Before I left the place, my body was intoxicated; with alcohol. I headed to the ladies and there it started – everything came out. With a sigh of relieve, I washed my hands and gargled my mouth.

While walking down the stairs, my head was spinning a little and cold sweat was on my face and chest. Once I reached the ground level, I almost blacked-out. I couldn’t see and my sight was dark (felt like I was blind momentarily)…..I was going to faint. I hung on to the pillar and told Sweetie my situation. So, to calm down and to avoid being stopped by any roadblocks (just in case), we adjourned to Starbucks. Sweetie got us a cup of Iced Latte to sip on. While she was getting the drink, I couldn’t hold back anymore and I quickly walked away. I couldn’t find the nearest toilet and being desperate; I hid behind a car and let it all out to the drain. Ahh……what a relieve!

Sweetie got worried as she didn’t see me where we were supposed to sit. Later, she saw me walking back. I was really sober then! So, we chatted for awhile and off we headed to the car park. Paid the fee and off I drove her home.

It was a great night out despite having intervals of puking sessions. =)

I had fun!

Yea, cam-whored in the ladies!

I better hit the bed now as I have another early exciting day installed for me.

Good night!

*Note: I experienced such puking sessions is because my alcohol tolerance has dropped tremendously. I have not been intoxicating my body for quite some time.

Emo-indicators

Humans are pretty emotional living beings, I would say. Every morning we wake up with a different mood. We can be in a good happy mood if we wake up on the right side of the bed; everything would be beautiful for us then. There are times where we woke up with a cheerful mood but somehow something during the day may affect us and make us feel as oppose to our initial mood.

I received this as a gift from a friend. A business associate. I find it was rather a good, useful tool as we can pre-empt others and to avoid any misunderstanding. I know I would appreciate it and take the necessary precautions.

For me, I will flip it and let the emocator depicts my mood of the day everyday!

=)

This is my mood today.

Let me show you what other moods are there in this little cute emocator flip chart!

This is when I am bogged down with reports and deadlines

This is when something went right

Please talk to me nicely and say the right thing

I would reckon you better stay away

This is the other side of me

I would be probably tired or moody

Yes, later would be better

It spoke for itself
Good day, everyone!

The Appearence of Mr Sun

He was there! He was there! He was there hiding shyly to greet me!

Who was it? Mr Sonny Sun? Yamashiro San?

No, it was Mr Sun! He was hiding behind the building when I was cruising to work this morning. I was really happy to see him.

Wait and Anticipate....

I am so excited and I anticipate. Anxiously, I wait. But, I just can't wait.....Hhmmmmm......

Let's call it a day

I left work early today. 6.30pm.

Again, I was admiring the sunset today. It was a very warm day and the sun has finally decided to call it a day. The drive home was smooth and again I captured the moment…..

"I will follow you..."

As if the sun was guiding me home…..
