The Laughters Are Back

As usual, I planned to leave work at 6pm yesterday. But as usual again, I needed to send out a brief to the agency for artwork revisions. I’ve received several messages from Fookies, asking me to meet up with them ASAP.

So, by the time I was done with work and packed up, it was 6.45pm. I drove out from the office compound and hit Federal Highway…..I saw something was shining at my rear and side mirror. Let me share it with you…

The sun was setting gradually and the sky was turning darker. I sped all the way using my trusty NPE and cut out near Menara Telekom. Traffic was quite bad due to the rain. Around 7.30pm, I reached Mid Valley. Got a parking lot near the entrance and I quickly marathon-ed to Pasta Zanmai.

MoneyMagnetBabe and Reporter were already there; LawyerLawyer was on her way… I have not seen Fookies Inc for almost a month now (I think). Everyone was just busy with work. I missed our outings as they are usually filled with laughter and all sorts of funny topics and of course endless ordering of food.

True enough! We were stuffed last night and we caught up with the happenings in our life. After Pasta Zanmai, we adjourned to Delicious for dessert. We ordered our drinks and continued with our conversations.

I felt happy. I was feeling down for the past few weeks and have been hiding at home. But last night, I was really happy that I met up with Fookies. They brought back the “liveliness” to my life.

Thank you Fookies, for lighting up my miserable life.
