#ucking Ducking Hot Day

(This is not an angry or vulgar entry. I used a similar word to complement the happenings of the day).

It was a #ucking hot day today. Even the cold water was warm. Started to sweat once I came out from the shower. And so, I got ready and was eager to bring my parents for a nice lunch.

Ma: Wah, wear so nice? Where are we going?

Me: No where, just out for a good lunch. I feel like wearing it, that’s all.

I drove them to Jaya One in PJ. I have been to the restaurant once, but my parents haven’t been there before.

It was DucKing that we dined in today. =)

We ordered a few dishes of dim sum and a plate of fried noodles to share.

The Glutinous Rice with chicken was quite nice. The rice was soft and supple; 80% better than those that we tasted in the normal dim sum kopitiam. Anyway, it was a good lunch and good quality time I had with Pa and Ma.

I took some photos of the menu while we were enjoying our cuppa tea; our favourite Pu Er tea to help clear off the fatty substance floating in our stomach.

After having a satisfying meal, we walked around to help with our digestions. And guess what, we ended up walking into the newly opened Cold Storage. There were quite a few booths set up for food sampling. If I wasn’t stuffed up till my neck, I would definitely whack all the lil’ pieces of food samples. =p

We left for home with a bag of groceries in my hand.

It was a nice afternoon spent with my parents.
