I managed to get tickets and having a friend to watch Angels and Demons. Initially when I asked my friend to join me for the movie, she was worried that she might not be able to sleep at night. She was concerned that the movie has “ghosts flying around” and leaving scary images in her mind. I assured her that it will not have such scenes as I know Tom Hanks rarely acts in horror movies. Plus, I thought it was more like a sequel to Da Vinci Code….
So, I met up with her. Yay! We caught up with our recent happenings until it was time for the movie.
The cinema was packed! It was almost full house.

I have to say it was pretty embarrassing as about after 10 minutes the movie started, I dozed off for a few minutes. I am not saying that the movie was boring (just felt the beginning part was a bit slow), but my eyes were as if 1 tonne heavy, I couldn’t keep them open. My friend knew I fell asleep as she offered me snacks but I didn’t respond! Hahahhahaha……. After having a “few minutes’ winks” (not 40 winks), I asked her for some snacks to munch on. Not bad eh, eat right after a nap.
I was quite amazed that our government was OK to approve this movie to be viewed by the public. Why?
Because…the movie was about Vatican City, Popes, Christianity, and Cathedrals. And the movie depicted the politics in the "Catholic community"....
I find this movie more interesting than Da Vinci Code. You guys out there should watch it. Don’t be deceived by the title –to me it is an interpretation of : Angels = Cathedrals and Christianity; Demons = the Illuminati (secret brotherhood that murdered the preferitti ).
Of course, while watching the movie, I also got to “travel” to Rome for almost 2 hours. One of the places in my-TO-VISIT-list. I saw the magnificent architectures of the cathedrals, the holy country for Christianity.
Do catch this thrilling movie. It is worth watching! However, if you have a weak tummy, then you might want to think twice as there are scenes of a dug out eye ball, burning alive and so on…Neh lar….everyone can take those scenes! Hehehehe…They are not that gross.
Oh yea, it is also recommended to watch because of another good looking guy in the movie – Ewan Mcgregor. Ewan acted as the camerlengo - the Pope’s right-hand man.
**Hugh Jackman is still the best**
