It was the highlight of the week. I was looking forward to it and the day has finally came.
“Tonight, is the night…” One of my besties love to sing this song under certain circumstances..hahaha…..
Anyways….
Back to what I was saying….tonight, is the night to celebrate MoneyMagnetBabe’s belated birthday.
All of us met up at Chillis, MV. Tonight, we had a new addition to the Fookies’ Group – 5th Fookie’s hubby, KM. We waited for our table to be set up. The restaurant was packed. We made ourselves comfortable and all of us were browsing through the menu carefully. We were hungry. We were like scavengers.
I wanted to be intoxicated a little, so I ordered Classic Margarita. Yummy!
I left the ordering of food to MoneyMagnetBabe as the both of us were sharing. The more dishes we ordered, the merrier it is!
After we were done with our orders, we started to catch up with our life lately and yada-yada…….
…We laughed till our stomach ache and happy tears coming out from the end of our eyes. We chatted and we also had a discussion on 5th Fookie’s wedding. We were talking and chatting and discussing – from bridemaids’ dresses, the plan and itinerary to pick up the bride, to hen’s night and finally the LAUGHTER BURSTING TOPIC….
So, what was it that made us laughed like thunder?
Well, somehow someone said something about having a nice wedding by the pool side, having guys with swords when the couple walks out….so, obviously it is ridiculous to get guys doing those “royal wedding”, so we modified it and had our very local adaptation with our imagination running wild!
Swords and confetti
How?
Instead of holding shiny swords in the guys’ hands, they will be using kitchen knives. Instead of using confetti, we use cabbage. Apply super fast skills and technique to chop up the cabbages’ leaves into small pieces in the air (we will throw the cabbages’ leaves into the air).
Hahahahahaha…..OMG! What a brilliant, original idea?!!!!!!!!
This was the local adaptation that we were talking about. Let me help you visualize it.
Kitchen knife. Use this...You know what, the Fookies also started to use this phrase: “Don’t lar, I spank you ah”. OooOOo....Kinky....!
Over dinner, we also had our photo session. How can we not have it? So, when we reviewed the photos taken on the Canon Ixus 860's screen, some of the Fookies will order “Don’t put this photo up in Facebook or blogs ah, I spank you!”
Wow…..I better seek copyrights, permission. And also I’ve filtered the photos published here.
