Saturday Night, Part II

So, after sorting out the mess last night, I received a text message: “Wanna have a drink?”
I punched in a couple of lines with my QWERTY keyboard: “Ok, I pick you up at 10.30pm. See you.”

It was a very fast reply, without any hesitation.

I hurried to finish up my Ice Honey Lemon and paid up. I left the diner immediately.

My bestie wanted a drink, so I suggested TTDI Plaza. There are some not-too-smoky-and-noisy- pubs there; so that we don’t have to shout at each other rather than talking. =)

Anyways, so we zoomed there in my lil’ black car and we surveyed the “best” place to drink. We strutted into Fidel’s. A Cuban pub. It is quite a relaxing pub, not too crowded and smoky; not too bad Cuban music…..

We screened through the drinks menu and the both of us made our order. For the first round, she had Lychee Martini whilst I had my beloved Mojito. Wow, both drinks were concentrated.

After having the first round of drinks, we felt that we wanted to be more intoxicated , so we ordered again…this time it was Pina Colada for her and a half pint of Hoegaarden for me!
Yummers to the max. I didn’t want to risk myself with one pint.

But, surprisingly, I was totally fine after that! Just a lil’ more cheery and jolly. I was practically giggling the whole journey home.

It was a simple impromptu night out. It had been awhile since I last went out drinking, I think……
