A Doctor Indeed....

I read through this article today in a magazine lying on the coffee table.

The article was basically about how dogs are considered as Doctors as well; besides the usual saying: “A dog is a man’s best friend”.

Well, according to the article, dogs with good temperaments are being employed as “doctors” to bring cheer to “patients” in disabled centres, homes for the young and elderly and orphanages on a voluntary basis.

For me…. I totally agree! She has healed me in some ways..

Gabby is really my bestie and she has brought joy and endless laughter to me. She has been a very good buddy, sister, and confidant. It was fated that I got her and how we were meant for each other. Gabby was there in the cage on the day of my visit to PAWS. I adopted her because I needed companion and also it was high time to have a watch dog at home. She caught my eyes!

In another 2 more months, it will be her 1 year anniversary with us. Over this 10 months, we had ups and downs, joy and frustrations, together.

In the beginning, it was difficult to understand her and her needs. It was difficult to stop her from barging into the house and stop her from biting cloths. It was difficult to take her out to her designated spot when it was bed time. It was difficult to teach her…and so, I brought her for training!! Now, I am proud to say her takes commands quite OK (she has her mood sometimes though). It is funny to see how she sleeps. It is hilarious to see how she hides under the table each time the sky was going to rain heavily.... It is cute how she follows me and Mama, in and out just to get some food out of us. One greedy, fattie she is!

Generally, I love her for who she is and how she is to all of us at home. She is one great doggy; one good guardian angel!!!!

Here are some photos for you to enjoy….
