Wet Wed

I left the house at 7.10am this morning for a media event in Ampang. It was a wet morning. The sky was gloomy.

Oh my my, I thought I was still early but I was wrong. Traffic was already piling up on the NPE highway heading towards Bangsar, MG and I were to meet up at AC’s house and we car pooled to Ampang – the other side of the world.

Sigh, pay toll also get stuck in traffic…what logic is that?

Anyway, we weren’t too sure about the routes to Ampang since all of us live on ‘this side of the world’. But thank goodness, MG had her hubby’s GPS. It is quite a cool gadget to have in the car. It tells you where and when to turn, except for certain times you really have to know the basic routes and have some sense of direction, or else – gone case.

With the help of the GPS, we reached our destination in 30 minutes despite the morning traffic in KL. The cool gadget led us through longer routes but with less traffic.

At the event venue, we set up the place, waited for the editors/ beauty writers from media publications to arrive. It was an experience and makeover session using the new Sebastian Professionals range.

We were done with the event by late afternoon. We went for market visit for awhile before we headed home. On the way back to Bangsar, I saw the weather was gloomy and it was really hazy.

Can’t even see the Twin Towers or KL Tower clearly….

Hazy…haziness….it kind of depicted my mood for the day. My mind was quite clouded with the unnecessary thoughts again. I didn’t want them and I don’t need it. I have enough of other things to worry about.

Universe, please give me a clear mind to allow me to be able to prioritize and focus on the important things in my life. Thank you.
