Waiting for Love ?

Love Can’t Wait….

….to be spread to those needy children for a better future; their education.

I was at One World Hotel in the afternoon to help out at this charity event, organized by Monsoon ID. The funds raised from the event (by tickets selling and auctioning) was donated to Yayasan Pendidikan Bandar Tun Razak – to those families whose income is less than RM2000.

We were there to pack the goodies bags and soon after we were done with it, we did some window shopping and had tea at the mall next door. We were back at the hotel to standby at 5.30pm…

The event officially started at 7.30pm with a buffet dinner. There were almost 500 people who attended the event. I was in charged for the registration of media partners and VIPs. There were quite a few big shots attended the event –Dato, Tunku, Datuk-datuk and Datins…

There were local Chinese singers who performed, 2 sessions of auctioning of the artistes’ designed T-shirts and a fashion hair show by Monsoon ID.

Well, I wasn’t in the ballroom during the auction, but I heard there was 1 T-shirt being auctioned off at RM2000! The starting bid was RM 50. Wow…I wonder what the design of the T-shirt was. My friends, who came for the event, both bid for a t-shirt too!

I bought a ticket priced at RM120 to support this charity event. In the goodie bag, I have this T-shirt. What a cutey, right?

Before the fashion hair show started, a mock cheque was presented to the Yayasan. The amount presented was a total of RM70,000! Wow, not bad eh?

I had some of the food there. To me, the spread was just so so. However, there were my favourite, sushi! Yum……I had quite a bit of that…then I also tried their Blueberry Cheesecake. Yum….quite nice! Very rich!

I went into the ballroom after dinner. Soon after that and a speech by the Dato, the fashion hair show started….

The event ended at about 11.30pm, I think. I was already feeling exhausted. My eyes were tired. We packed up, loaded the boxes into some of my colleagues’ cars and a few of us left for a drink. Just to catch up a little.

By the time I was home, it was almost 2am. It was raining heavily and the roads were filled with leaves. Yup, it was pretty windy before the rain!

After my bath, I was unable to sleep even though I was damn tired. Don’t know why…so I took IT out and sprayed some….
