Tough Climb but It's Worth It......

4.30am. That was the time I woke up that morning, just in order to catch sunrise. We arrived at Seongsan Sunrise Peak about 6am.

I love watching sunrise as it indicates the new cheery beginning of a day. I also like to watch sunset as it shows that another day has ended, regardless whether it was a long, tiring, busy, sad or happy day.

It was rather a rough climb as the earlier path was the original path of volcanic rocks. It was uneven to walk on. At that time of the day, the sky was still dark but the path was well lit.

It took many steps to reach the peak. It was quite a challenge as I only had 3 hours of sleep and with an empty stomach. But, I climbed and climbed. I am a sucker for sunrise and sunsets.

Reminds me of Marlboro's advertisement. But the sight is romantic, right?

Clad in my ‘Michelin’ jacket, shorts and stockings and a pair of sport shoes, I made it to the peak. Half way through I had to unzipped the jacket and took it off as I was sweating, despite the cool weather that morning. Panting and had sips of water, I waited for the sun to show himself.

All of us waited and waited. Unfortunately, the sun was covered by the thick clouds. This was the only sight of it we could see…….

Do you see a yawning face with eye lashes?

After the sky was bright, we made our way down. On the way down, I admired the surrounding and the fresh air……..

Can roll down the slope like Bollywood movies..

Strolling down....
