Well, I really felt like as if it was yesterday that I was blogging about this.
How time flies….another year is soon ending; and I would like to do a quick check if I have achieved any of my 2009 resolutions.
Let’s see.
1. Precious time with my family and Gabby
Yes, I did. We had meals together and went out with my parents whenever I could. I took Mama for foot reflexology (and I also had a session of it). On the other hand, I took Gabby for walks whenever I am home early.
2. The Time with Fookies and Friends
This year has been quite an exciting year. I attended events which I would never thought that I would be invited for. As for friends’ outing, one of my best buddies opened her cafĂ© this year; birthdays we celebrated together; and the very first hen’s night and soon the FIRST wedding!
3. Spending time to myself is a definite! Needless to say more on this.
I kinda pampered myself by checking my skin condition by SKII at an event (oopss…) and dying my hair partically green. Of course, there were more...... =)
4. Seeing places?
Yup yup. Two thumbs up! I went to a few local tourist destinations with a group of buddies and I had my ‘first-time-drove-there’ trip to Kuantan and Malacca! (I have never driven to outstation before this)
Of course, I have also left my foot steps in Seoul (unplanned); I learnt to make kim chi; went on crazy rides in the theme park; saw and experienced the autumn weather again; walked up the mountain and had my very own “DVD cover” for the famous Korean series – “Da Chang Jin” (Dai Cheong Kam in Cantonese).
5. Getting traveling funds
Well, I did concentrate on my work and it was recognized. Moving forward, I was recommended by my country manager and encouraged by my then-mentor for another position, another new job scope. Better prospect, better learning curve and salary. It happened too fast that I didn’t even have the chance to really clear my cubicle. I walked out of the door that evening, heavy heartedly.

6. Getting a place of my own
This didn’t happen but my savings is on going. So far, I have yet to find a suitable location for property within my budget.
In 2009, there was quite a number of my ‘first time (s)’.
