The Excitement Off Late....

It had been pretty exciting for me off late.

I have visited the ‘other sides of the world’, places which I would never go to or try to avoid.

I actually found my way to Wisma Hock Ann’s area – Jalan Haji Hussein, down to Jalan Raja Alang and Jalan Chow Kit (thanks to my road buddy, the GPS).

Yup, so I walked down the streets filled with the local locals (Malays) and quite a number of Indonesians. I didn’t know there were so many wholesalers and markets in that area. I managed to park my car at a decent parking area and strutted down the street….it was an eye opener, indeed.

On another day, I attended my first event since I joined the company. It was my soon-to-be client’s event of the year. I managed to meet up with my colleagues and Sales Director on time despite covering stores in the first half of the day. (Well, I had to look for a decent place to change because it was rather a ‘glam’ event and the dress code was white. So, I changed into the dress and made up in the car. Yup, it was my first time doing my make up in the car too.)

I was introduced to a few important people during the event. It was a good event overall. I also got to experience Delicious Café in Dua Residency. A very nice ambience to dine in and hang out. Their food is superb!

I left the place at 5.45pm. To my utter surprise, Jalan Bukit Bintang was traffic free. How weird?

There will be more excitement coming along the way and in 2010….I know for sure…

*psst…I (we) have planned an exciting long weekend too.
