It was a wet and chilly Sunday evening. I went for the grand-est (Victorian) wedding. It was Kevin and Peggie’s wedding dinner at Le Marquee, Palace of Golden Horses Hotel.
The deco of the venue was just awesome! It was at a giant marquee which I think easily fitted 600 people at least. The theme of the event was purple and Victorian style. I supposed Peggie loves the color very much.
Table 63 was where we sat.
Of courses, there were a few types of happy juices to choose from to complete the night….here is the list.
I made my choice!
The event started at about 8.30pm. We welcomed the lovely newly weds. They made the grand entrance with an antique car. MAW 300 drove through the semi transparent curtains and made it way on to the red carpet. Car doors were opened and the couple stepped out………

Oh yea, one very important highlight of the night was that Datuk Jimmy Choo who graced the event, gave a speech. And of course, Peggie was wearing his specially made heels.
In between dining time, there were some ‘programs’ specially planned for the guests. Kevin’s brothers dedicated a couple of songs to the lovely couple. As finale, there was a 5 minutes fireworks.
We left around 11.15pm as we had to work the next day. We didn’t want to fish while working…….
