The weekend just flew passed before my eyes again. The always long awaited weekend.
My weekend was pretty occupied.
Saturday. I met up with 2 friends in the afternoon. We had lunch and headed to Stadium Melawati in Shah Alam for Metrojaya warehouse sale. A sale which is up to 70%. Well, yup, it is very obvious that it was packed with people.
It was my very first time being to a warehouse sale. How jaggun, right? Well, I have never been to one because I (or rather my ex-partner then) think that those places were just too crowded to be at. It was an experience to me yesterday. No doubt, there were many people in the air-conditioned stadium, but there were full of affordable and cheap stuff in the bins! I bought myself 2 bottles of branded perfume and 2 stripes, long sleeves shirts for someone as x’mas pressie. It was on 70% discount for those branded shirts! Worth it, worth it. My friends bought a set of comforter with 480 thread count at only RM 150!!!! Bedsheets with 520 thread counts were retailing at RM 250!
We spent about 2 hours plus in the stadium before we headed off for a drink.
I revisited the place. A place ‘we’ used to go to. I brought them to this café nearby for tea. We were dying for a drink. The café was slightly renovated and it is so beautiful now. I love the backyard. See it for yourself!
We chit-chatted till dinner time. We adjourned for dinner with the rest of the gang. After dinner, I sent them home and headed out again for the footie game. It was West Ham United vs MU. Final score? 0-4!!! Yay!!!
An old friend and I were exchanging messages and he told me how I have changed so much when he found out I watch footie now. Yeah, I told him, people change along the way in life (when they have experienced or gone through certain circumstances), just a matter of for the better or for the worse. He agreed.
Okay, I better get going now. Tomorrow is a long, exciting day again……
