We yum char-ed with a friend this afternoon, after my CNY visit to a friend’s house. It was nice to catch up with friends during this festive season, especially those who are far far away from us.
After the yum char session, the both of us were deciding where to have our dinner. There was a suggestion to take a drive to KL for food, but instead an idea struck me! And so, we went ahead with my idea of packing dinner and eat in the apartment while watching tv series saved on the hard disk! Yay!
We packed the famous and original Ah Wah’s hokkien noodles and ‘tong sui’ as dessert after dinner. Wow, we were filled up to the brim! My stomach almost burst…but hey, it’s CNY, so heck it.
We watched the series till about 11.30pm. We stood outside the balcony to admire the night view for a sec. And guess what? We saw fireworks, lighting up a small patch of the sky (as we saw it from a real far distance).
As I was looking at it and asked: “Where is that? Is it Klang? Freight forwarders tend to light up a lot of fireworks during CNY…” As my memories started to flood my mind….I received a light flying kick at my @ss….. Aiks! I shouted.
We burst out laughing. “Stop! Don’t even dare to start thinking about it.”
Alright…. I got that. Well received! Noted.
We walked to my car and off I started the engine. I left for home as in another few more hours, it’s time to load my mailbox and start working on what I need to …in the office.
