The Last Hour

1 more hour and my birthday will be over. :P

There was a simple celebration for me last Friday and tonight.

Friday was my ‘off day’. I met up with the gang for dinner. They had reserved a table at the balcony of TJ Haus. The food was not too bad. I had steak. Yum yum… ;) It was a happy event because I had a great time with great people, yummy-licious food and nice ambience. Not forgetting a cheesy cheese cake!

Today, I was out in the trade. It was a training day for me. Yeah, on my birthday (but it’s ok, birthday is just a day still). Good learnings and pointers picked up along the way.

I headed home after downloading my emails in the office. My family brought me out for dinner. So, while driving home, I was thinking of Japanese if they asked what would I like to have for my birthday. Great minds think alike or shall I say “like father like daughter”? My dad had decided to dine in Rakuzen.

Yay! My favourite cuisine!

While scrutinizing through the menu, mama said: “order something with noodles. It’s your birthday, traditionally people have noodles to resemble longevity. (Does it sound like what Forrest Gump always say - "Mama says...."?)
