Every beginning of the year, there are several very special occasions to celebrate in my family.
Firstly, it would be my brother’s birthday; followed by my papa’s and mine (Mama's later in the year). This year, we celebrated papa’s big day at our regular restaurant. As usual, we were welcomed by the familiar faces – the waiters who have been working there for years.
We enjoy the food, the service and of course, the warmth of the people there. We normally will have our cozy, little more privacy table to ourselves.

At the end of our meal, papa was served with a complimentary chocolate brownie with ice cream and a birthday song. This year, the waiter brought along a sombrero for papa to put on. ;)
It was a blessed and blissful night for all of us.
