The clock shows 4.09am and here I am in front of my pc, blogging….
I am pretty much wide awake, probably because I slept quite a bit for the last 2 days..and yes, when I say quite a bit, it means A LOT. I slept for almost 12 hours yesterday…yeah, a pig in the making… I feel so refreshed and energised as I mentioned in my FB :) Feels good!
It was Valentine’s Day yesterday and so, I think I am just gonna write about it a lil’.
Well, V Day is supposed to be one extraordinary sweet day for couples (especially) where couples will dine in a romantic ambience-d restaurant or having outings to some nice places to watch the sunrise or sunset or movies. A simple or dramatic do, it is the quality time spent together that matters.
But, to me, I think when one is in love, everyday is V Day. Everything will seem so beautiful even though it was a bad hair day; caught in a bad traffic (because there is someone to call/ talk to while waiting for the cars to move, even an inch); there is always someone to turn to and share with during good or bad times; and the list just goes on….
No doubt, there are ups and downs in a relationship, but if (IF) both of them are able to sort things out, things will work out just fine… and for those which really cannot be amended or saved, just have to burst the sweet bubble and step out and face reality.
I went for a movie and it was Valentine’s Day. The story is basically about different couples with their relationships. The movie depicted several couples who are in different age groups and roles and how love was meant to them. It’s a typical lovey-dovey movie without a WOW effect, but it was just rather entertaining, I must say (with many big stars in it). It kinda got me thinking – how would someone know if that person is really meant for you and there is a future together? Is there really such as thing as some special ‘chemistry’ or else? How long will it last? Can one preserve the love? It definitely takes two to tango. : )
This year is another single V Day for me. I am not seeing anyone in particular, and it was nice to spend time with family and friends. I lunched with family and at night, I lepaked at a friend’s place, watched DVDs, chit chatted and just did nothing till late…. Niceeeee....
V Day for 2010 had passed. How time flies…?
I hope you couples out there had a blast and it will be part of your memories forever.
Cheers!
