Hurt by words

This is a very short entry.

“Have you ever wished that you didn’t say what you said?”

This was the topic over the radio this morning. Well, let me tell you from being a person who receive the message….yeah…I wished I didn’t hear something….over the phone.

I was rather feeling a little hurt yesterday afternoon, after a phone call. I called up to ensure the operation process and preparation for the upcoming event was ok. The person wasn’t sure and coincidently the key contact person walked passed her desk. She stopped her and checked on the matter. I heard:” Who’s that? Ignore her. I’ve already told her.”

"IGNORE ME?" I was rather a little upset and disappointed because – yes, even though she has told me, but the both of them are from different departments. My intention was to just have an alignment and mutual understanding of the happenings on both parties involved and everything happens smoothly on that day.

Did I do wrong? Is it wrong to be 'kan cheong' and to show concern?
