Away at The Legend

It really feels good to be home. I had a long working week from Monday till Thursday evening. And Thursday night, I drove to The Legend Water Chalets, Port Dickson for my company’s Retail Operations Convention with my boss. It was my first time staying in this resort.

It was my second time to experience night driving. The roads and surroundings were pitch black. I could hardly see anything when I looked into the rear mirror…. By the time we reached PD, it was about 8.30pm. We were just in time for dinner. Yay! The both of us were hungry!

Met a few new people / soon to be colleagues during dinner. I’ve missed the team building session in the day as I had a customer meeting in the afternoon, so I had to stay back till it was over.

My roomie (& partner in crime) was Emie and she was telling me how weird the room was over dinner. It was hard to believe until I saw it with my own eyes……

Firstly was that there is an open bath tub area. It’s really suitable for couples or newly weds to be romantic there. Hahahha…. Then, there is a slight gap at the frosted glass at the shower cubicle. There is a door to separate the bathing area and the actual bedroom. I love the side bed concept where we can oversee the sea view. It’s just beautiful. Emie booked that bed as she checked in first on Thursday morning. Too bad for me…no sea view, but I got a BIGGER bed, right in front of the TV. Ngiek ngiek ngiek !

I was really exhausted that night. Emie went to another room for the training slides preparation, I stayed in the room instead. After a nice shower, changed into my T-shirt and peejay pants, I dozed off in front of the TV with my lappie beside me….

…And that was day 1.

I will continue with day 2 later…
