The GoldCoast Experience

It was our yearly Distributor Convention last week. It was held at Sepang Goldcoast. I drove there alone after making a pit stop at my customer’s place that morning. Oh my, Sepang Goldcost is located really far away. What an adventure I had!

Even though the place was really far away, but it is a very nice resort. Even though I don’t have the chance to visit Dubai for now, but I’ve visited the replica of it. ;)

The resort’s concept is a bit similar to Legend, PD. All of the villas are on stilts and we need to have a long walk (if your room is nearer to the horizon of the sea) and have buggy rides to the clubhouse or lobby.

Long story short, the first assignment of mine was to join in the group for a performance. I only got to rehearse few minutes before performing to the whole lot of distributors. Here was the theme and how I looked like! I turned blue and into blue! Avatar was the theme for the year.

Besides this, I was assigned to do a presentation to all the independent supermarket sellers. I only got to know that I had to present to 70 people in the room 30 minutes before my preso slot. I was really stressed the day before and was shaking since morning as I didn’t have much time to prepare myself. I ended up having a bad headache, since morning.

Our dinner setup was by the beach and the theme was white. Again, I had to perform a dance with the group last minute! One thing I realized was, working with this company has to be really impromptu and expect the unexpected!

My headache was really killing me that night. I sneaked back to my room, bathed and sleep, while the rest of them adjourned to the hall for major, crazy drinking session; getting themselves intoxicated.

I totally knocked out that night because I didn’t hear my villa mates’ Symphony No.5!
