Today was a running errands day. I dropped by Carrefour to replenish my weekly food supply – 2 cartons of milk, 4 cups of yogurt and a bottle of yogurt drink. Thereafter, I wanted to walk over to the gym, but I saw the sky was really dark; it was going to pour anytime. So, I walked back to Optimus Prime and drove over. I managed to get a parking lot near to the lift. Lucky.
I rushed home after gym. Stevie came to pick me up and we headed to Guardian Angel’s office for the warehouse sales. Wow, everything was going cheap! I wanted to get what mama wanted, but too bad, I supposed it was sold out. Instead, I got her some other things that she needed at a really offer, no need to bargain price. Mrs Giggs also asked me to help her to get many branded scrubs and masques. :)
The weather was kind to us as it was cooling, after the rain. It was great to hang out at the warehouse sales. I got to observe how consumers bargain for already- lowered- price -items. We headed back to my house after the sales were over as mama had cooked dinner. It was a scrumptious dinner! I hope Guardian Angel enjoyed it too.
Guardian Angel and I lepak-ed at Stevie’s house after dinner with games of cards till midnight.
I didn’t work this weekend. Somehow felt a little bad, but somehow felt happy as this is what I call a weekend + work-life balance.
