It was 6pm and I packed up my stuff to leave. I was invited for Nuyou Magazine event - Walk of Style in Gardens last night. I went to pick up my Kai Ma along the way as she is my media and creative agency. We went together.
By the time we've bypassed all the traffic and parked the car, it was already 7.30pm. Guardian Angel was already there waiting for me. The event was supposed to start at 7pm (stated on the Invitation Card), but as usual, being Malaysians, we were late. But, that was not only it, the best part was that the event started at 8.30pm!!!
Most of us were lingering around, socialising. It had been really a long time since I last attend an event. Ever since I've stopped being in marketing for almost a year! I met my ex-colleague from P&G there as well. We chatted and caught up with some updates.
There were a few other people who I've knew and also had short chats with them. I was quite surprised that they still remember me, even though I was kind of MIA for some time...
The event was quite a dull one, to be honest. When it started, the music was just too loud for such a small area. The singers were just way too 'superb'. I wonder who were they? Both Guardian Angel and I decided to leave and adjourned for dinner with Kai Ma at Alexis. We left for home thereafter.
