I went back to the office this morning to finish up the unfinished business and also to return the company's properties. It was officially my last day. I won't be stepping into the tall, sturdy and sleek building; pressing no.10 button in the lift anymore.
Anyways, it was nice to have lunch with my colleagues. A few of them came back from Vietnam (FYI - I would have gone for it too if I didn't resign). We had it at the Gardens. BC was so happy and satisfied with his burger set. He was telling me his experience in Vietnam. He suffered from vegetable frenzy meals there for the entire week! Every meals there were served with a big basket - as if free for life-fresh greens. Poor "spent-6- years- in-America-boy!

Before I left, I called my boss out from a meeting because I needed her to sign off the termination documents /check-list.
And so, my boss excused herself from the meeting. She was really tied up with back-to-back meetings- just like the very first day I was introduced to her. I sent her a text message after the security guard escorted me to the lobby (Please don't get me wrong. I didn't commit any act of misconduct. Just that, I needed a tag scanned to exit the barricade).
"Bye bye, XX. I've left the building. Wished I could have given you a 'thank you hug' before I left. Take care."
Later, I received a reply.
"Oh man, I so want to hug you."
My reply was: "Stay cool, boss. You are in a forecasting and sales meeting. :) "
No reply after that. I guess she took my advice. Hehehe.....
