It is now official. I had many short meetings with each of my team member. I wanted to hear them out and understand their working style. It was a fruitful meeting with each of them as I got to know all their daily doings and certain frustrations in them. I made it clear to them that I am here to help and support them, provided they keep me in the loop. Bad news need to be shared fast, while good news can follow.
I start to feel the challenges with managing people. It is not a walk in the park; at all. I hope I am able to make changes and everybody is close to each other again soon.
We'll see....
During one of the meetings, Guardian Angel's dad called me. It was a very different night for me today as his dad bought me dinner. Guardian Angel was sick (yes, it was my fault to pass on my flu and cough to him). He was resting at home. I visited him and had dinner in his house. I left for home quite early as he needs his rest and sleep.
Poor fellow....wishing you here a speedy recovery!
