I drove to Penang with my 2 other fellow colleagues on Monday afternoon. My other 2 Central team members flew there. It was a warm day and we made our way there. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel tired even after driving for the whole journey.
By the time we reached there, it was evening 6pm. We checked into the hotel and took a rest. Met up with our Area Manager and we chit chatted in the room till dinner time. We gathered at the lobby with the guest artists and headed to Oriental Seafood for dinner.
Surprisingly, the restaurant had most of the good stuff sold out. Probably it was because of the holidays. But, we still enjoyed the dinner with other recommended dishes. There were fried soft shell crabs, crab fried with rice noodles, sambal brinjals, Cantonese style noodles, Special Spring Rolls, and fried Chinese “shishamo”.
While we were chatting, I saw some fireflies flying near the lights above our heads. They were pretty. We didn’t hang around too late as we needed to have a good rest. The next day would be hectic and long. We parted and drove back to the hotel at about 11.30pm.
