It was an impromptu decision. The both of us didn't dine in The Ship for ages. We used to dine in this restaurant (on separate occasions and before we knew each other). It was a whole different experience now as we find the decor and ambience differ from last time. Maybe we were too young to notice the details back then. Tonight, we revisited the place.
The restaurant was quite packed despite it was already closed to 9pm. But anyhow, we managed to get a table at the corner. He ordered his all-time favourite Tom Yum soup as appetizer and Sizzling Chicken whilst I tried out their Baked Fish Fillet. I took a few sips of his soup and yum yum....nice! The Sizzling Chicken was good too! Well, mine? It was quite filling as it was baked in cheese.
It was a nice 'adventure' that we went on today as it was great to flood our minds with our childhood memories!
