A Nice SKINN Event

I was busy for the past few days. There were a little too much on my plate (plus my boss is away) and also needed to help out my other division with their new brand launch event.

SKINN is an elegant skin care range from Sydney, Australia. SKINN is designed for the specific needs of male skin. SKINN's ingredients contain humectants, NMF's, antioxidants, anti- inflammatory agents and the latest in peptide technology (means anti-aging too!). This range is targetted to men above 28 years old who have high purchasing power (price is not cheap at all) and VAIN, or who are trimmed and proper, to be in nicer words.

SKINN has 7 unique products and each smells damn good. Previously, I gave Guardian Angel some mini testers, and he gave some feedback that certain products in the range were good to use.

Don't you want those chest..err..I meant products?

Here are some of the photos for the decor that we did in our office to hold the event.

Inside the seminar room

I've done so many products launches or events, and this one was the easiest to handle. All that I had to do was to engage an emcee for the event. So, I've gotten agreement from the Marketing Manager and GM to engage Jien. He was MY emcee for the day....Oh sorry, it's supposed to be the emcee for the event. ;p

I introduced him to our Executive Director and, General Manager and the Principal, Catherine. Jien is a really really friendly person, PLUS he is so cute and good looking! Kimberly, the Marketing Manager for the brand, also was drooling over him. But too bad, can see, cannot touch or get involved. Hahahaha.....

The event took off at 10.30am. Jien started to with a welcome note and short intro of the brand. He is really good for events! Funny and lively.

After the welcome speech by the GM, Catherine started to give more insights and facts to this brand. SKINN is currently being used in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, KL's spa center. This whole lot of products will be in departmental stores from March this year.
The media partners came and surprisingly, all of them paid 101% attention to Catherine's session. Noone was talking or walked out from the room.

A few of my colleagues handed out testers for all of the attendees to try. Men or women.

My colleague was helping another colleague of mine with the eye cream.

Food and beverage are the important element for an event too. We fed the media and business partners with yummy food.

I missed this out, not sure what was it. By the time i got to it, all sapu already.

Cute little tarts!

This is nice - Prawn stuffed in cucumber. I think I can try making this at home.... ;p

Boxing chicken

Chocolate brownies...my colleagues whalloped most of it..

Spring rolls
After the launch gambit and closing, we caught hold of Jien to have a few snapshots. I was priviledged to stand beside him. Hmm...how will the photo look like if I cut it into half - right after my left arm, vertically?! Hahahahahaha..... just kidding.

Jien, me, Kimberly and Jenny

The photographer asked us to swap position for another shot. Again, I was lucky to be beside him....hehehhehehe.....

Ok, this was a trying-to-be- glamour group shot....
Since we had all the props and backdrops paid and done up, we didn't let it to waste! All of us took turns to snap photos after everyone left........standing left, right, and center.

That was my exciting week at work!
