Year End Celebration (Before the Lunar Bunny New Year hops in)

This is how it works for a China-man company. We have 'sau-kong jau' on the few days before Chinese New Year break. It means that it's the year end closing celebration before we embrace the new year. We celebrate the success and hard work of all in the company. This is when the bonus is out too!

We had our luncheon at Grand Imperial. The food was ok, edible. But one thing was the service wasn't really that great. We waited for a long time even before the 'lou sang' was served!

So, while waiting for the remaining staff and food to arrive, we had ample time to take photos. Family shots. :)

This is me, sandwiched between Sum, my Key Account Manager, and Mamma Mia.

This is Mrs. Giggs in cheong sam; and we have been calling her Mother- In- Law for the whole day. Hahahaa...

With the Sales team and Beauty department colleagues.

It had been quite a while since we had a photo together. OK, from this photo, I might have a little too much of Swing.

With the Elizabeth Arden colleagues.

Another thing being in a chinese company is not forgetting the drinks - ALCOHOL. Yes, my MD loves to have DRINKS during CNY luncheons or dinners. And, nobody can run away from it!

....And when one too many drinks were going around, this was what happened. People just start to be more proactive in taking drinks themselves....

The yum-sing session just didn't happen once, but many rounds, especially when you have people going around with their glasses and started to grab your shoulder inviting you to drink... Some will just get terrified.

Sometimes, people will also tend to drink behind the scene...

We ended the yum sing session at about 4pm. All of us had a great time. And me? I had a little over my limit, but I had to keep myself awake because I needed to get my butt to Sunway Pyramid to get my SIM card fixed!
Yum Sing for the new Bunny year, everyone!

This colleague of mine had over his limit....way over!
