Does it mean that when someone tells a white lie which doesn't cause major damages, it is ok? Does it mean that when someone lies straight to your face, it is ok? Does it mean that when someone lies in front of you but doesn't do anything bad behind your back, it is ok? Does it mean that when someone lies in front of you will not lie behind your back? Is this a consolation?
