2 people, 2 movies

I just got back home not long ago from dinner and a movie marathon. It was really awesome and I am very happy to watch 2 new movies in one night - Thor and Fast 5!!! It was a surprise to have this movie marathon because I only booked for Fast 5, but on the other hand, Leroy booked Thor. Back to back!

I enjoyed Thor very much. The graphics didn't look really fake even though it is quite a low budget movie. As for Fast 5, it was the usual watching the action, checking out the hot chicks and admiring the cool engines.

Okie, good night everyone! Tomorrow is another day filled with joy and excitement!

LeveL7 at KL Hilton

I finally arrived at KL Hilton Sentral after getting stuck in the morning traffic on Monday morning. I was really sleepy that morning. I helped to set up the place before our SP Alchemy Club Members arrived for their quarterly meet.

The club members started to arrive around 9.15am and they started off their day with the freshly brewed coffee at Level 7. I love Level 7 as the decoration is very lifestyle and classy. You should check out the toilet if you have the chance to be at this level. It has automated door and toilet bowls. I wish my home to be like this in future. *Grin*

Waiting for the missing ones

And the meeting started. It was a sharing session by the SP Alchemy Club Members on the System Professional Alchemy treatment and products. It was our 'hearing them out session'.

I was busy jottings down notes and their testimonials - how and what did they do in the salons to make profits?

Remember I was telling you about me taking the P&G assistant brand manager to Aquaria? He joined us for this meeting and he got to hear all of our customers' feedback and help needed.

They had so much to express and share and we had to cut them short, politely. We ran over time and it was time for lunch before Sudu Restaurant closed. My boss took the customers for lunch while the few of us teamed up together to quickly clear up the room.

Before we adjourned for lunch, a quick photo of the group.

Fishy Sunday Afternoon

With only 5 hours of sleep, I went downtown to meet up with the P&G assistant brand manager for one of the brands that I handle. He came from Singapore to attend an event with us and also to have his market visit so he gets to know better on our business.

First, I picked him up from KL Hilton Sentral and we headed off to Yut Kee for a traditional hainanese lunch. Since he loves Chicken Rice so much, so I took him there. It was great to yack yack and yack over lunch as I don't really know him very well since I've joined the company. I only met him once and spoke to each other back in January when we were in Bangkok for a workshop.

It's ironic how we clique and can talk so much even though this is our second time to meet face to face.

After lunch, I've decided to take him to Pavilion as he wanted to look for some casual jackets. But due to there weren't any nice ones, I suggested to take him to Aquaria at KLCC. He left the afternoon's agenda to me :) (By the way, if you are wondering why did I take him to Aquaria? It's because he is originally from India and now resident in Singapore. He hasn't seen KL or Malaysia as a total yet).

So, he paid for the fees to enter the Aquaria. The whole journey in the Aquaria was just serene and fun. Serene because it was really relaxing to be in a dimmed litted place looking at the different types of fishes swimming in the tanks. It was fun because we made fun some of the fishes by giving them names and making up conversation for the fishes.

This is one grandma super big fish and he called her Ah Ma.

Nautilus Chamber - looks like some ancient, dinosaur era snail, right?

And the last stop - seahorse. It reminded me of my 'Seamaster'.

After the walk in the Aquaria, we had coffee at Dome, KLCC. We hung out till about 5pm and I drove him back to his hotel. I was meeting up with Leroy that evening for a scrumptious dinner.

Occupied

I have been occupied for the past few days. I didn't have much energy left by the end of the day to blog even though there is so much to say. Let me do it one by one event....

Tiring Days

Oh gosh, I am so sleepy now. A tiring yesterday and today. Running around, driving up and down town, entertaining my guest. Phew, it looked as if I had an easy 2 working days, but in actual fact, I feel even more tired compared to normal working days.

Luckily, I managed to skip tonight's entertainment.

The Question

I was being asked if "is HE the right guy for me?" when I was in the room couple of days back.

Guess what was my answer to the person?

:x

Follow U Cake

"I will follow you..."

This cake looks so cute with the mini foot prints on it.

You can get it from Tong Kee. It is Double Chocolate Cake. Quite nice!

Double Celebration on a Saturday

It was last Saturday evening that all of us gathered at 5th Fookie's cozy apartment for 2 celebrations. One was celebrating the belated birthdays of my BILs (Brother in law) and the other is to celebrate that 1st Fookie got a new job and will be posted oversea, and 3rd Fookie will be going to US for 2 weeks!

We had potluck that night. All of us brought food to share. Yummy....

Fried Vegetarian Udon

The huge apple pie

The greens

Seafood dumplings

Fruits rojak

After filling up our tummies, it was the highlight for the night. Both my BILs were invited to cut the super colourful and yummy-licious jelly cake.

Brothers, together...

Then, it came the shots with the loved one.

And, last but not least - this is my portion of the cake to take home.

We ended the night at about 9.30pm as a few of them were going for a concert. We met up with our friends thereafter.

I enjoyed the night. I enjoyed hanging out at friend's place. I would really love to have a place of my own so that I have the freedom to have friends over anytime and also to do whatever I like....I am looking forward for that day to come......

Stop & Admire

We were on the way to LT's HDB and I stopped when I saw this. It was such a beautiful sight and couldn't resist to take a photo of it.

According to LT, it is new renovated.

I don't know why but I like to see and visit temples. :P

Watch Area

It was a cloudy day in Singapore. I went to the bar area to take a rest and enjoy the ambience. It wasn't too crowded, which what I enjoy most.

This is one of the views from the bar.

It was relaxing to sit at this open air area, to watch people and get watched. Hahaha.....

Lunching brings us closer

JOJO.....

.........Kitchen, this was where we had lunch today. This shop has more varieties to choose from compared to the rest of the pan mee noodle house. We drove to Subang Jaya for lunch as we needed to buy some things for our upcoming event.

We just got back an hour ago. I feel that our working relationship is improving and we are closer day by day when we go for lunch and work on things together. :)

Singaporean vs Malaysian Food

After a frustrating 1st day of training (I will tell you why I was frustrated on that day separately), there was a group dinner organised for us that night. All of the Asian countries counterparts and myself gathered at the lobby of the hotel and we all departed in a double decker bus to the restaurant.

Well, honestly, even though I have been to Singapore several times, but I am still very unfamilar with the place. I didn't really get to travel and explore much in Singapore every time I was there. It was always just a purely business trip. I did explore Singapore once back in 2008 on my own, but I went to the tourist attractions like for the night safari, museum and etc.

So, when the bus was taking us to the restaurant, I totally didn't have any idea where were we going to. I knew we passed by Clark Quay and that's it.......

The restaurant located quite far away from our hotel. It was about 10 - 15 minutes bus ride, I think. And finally.....we arrived at.......

Menu for the night

It was at Majestic Hotel. A rustic, semi-old-semi renovated building. The lobby looked contemporary on one side, and the other was decorated with olden day's furnitures.

This was the view outside

I enjoyed the ambience and decoration of the place, but I didn't enjoy the dinner. The Chinese food wasn't good. I find Singaporean food not as good as Malaysian's. I did discuss this topic with Leroy as he has good taste/ selection with food but he did tell me maybe it was because I am being bred and brought up in Malaysia all this while. Maybe....maybe....

Leroy's brother was also in Singapore the same period as me, except that his trip duration was longer than mine. We contacted each other via BBM but we didn't get to meet up or hang out due to our schedules.

I was really tired that night after dinner. I had a migrain and so I took Panadol and hit the bed after bath till the next morning. It was time for me to leave Singapore that afternoon......

In Singapore for couple of days

I am Back!

I was there for 2.5 days. I was in Singapore for new products launch training. We arrived at Singapore in the evening. We checked into Grand Park Orchard Hotel along Orchard Road. Hmm, not too bad at all. Room rate? SGD 240++. It is a cosy hotel and more towards the boutique hotel type. One thing about the hotel is it smells like a perfume pot; as if the air fresherner was free.

I stayed at level 8, room 836.

The corridor

The giant bed with a girl image at the back

The big TV

The construction view from my room

A very nice comfortable settie

Being jakun, the phone was a cordless one

And...the spa range in the toilet

Bedroom slippers

That evening, we met up with my friend, LT. She brought us to her HDB. It is only about 5 minutes taxi ride away from my hotel. The HDB looks really clean from the outside and comfortable inside.

This was the view from her HDB.

We lepaked at her place for awhile. She packed her stuff because I invited her to stay with me in my hotel room so that we could catch up; chit chat. That night, after bath, we really chatted and updated on our lives till 1am. There were just so much to yack about.

I had to call it a night as my training started at 10am the next morning. We went to bed with the TV and lights on.

Sing Sing, here I come...

Woooohooooo...! My friend in Singapore wants to take me to 313@Somerset later this evening!
Can't wait...can't wait!

Happy Saturday

I had a wonderful Saturday.
I drove over to Leroy's house at 10am. I had brunch Dim Sum with his family. It was really a good bonding session between me and his family. We went to the restaurant nearby his house in his brother's new car. It is really comfortable even though there were 3 of us at the back seat.

We tried one of the so-called famous dim sum restaurant, but it turned out to be just so-so. Nothing great; but there was still a crowd there. The service was slow but most importantly to me was the time spent with good company; his family. I look foward to more of this.

I was stuffed. We headed home and lepak-ed around. I was sitting on his bed, but while waiting for him to complete some work on his lappie, I fell sleep and he didn't wake me up. I think I napped for about an hour plus, when I woke up - oh my, it was already 3.30pm. Hmm.....the bed was just really comfortable.

Leroy was also 'napping' and so I didn't want to wake him up. I left a message with his mum that I make a move first.

Later in the evening, Leroy picked me up for dinner and Gin Rummy session. We met up with Jennie and Stevie for dinner at this Chinese restaurant in Kepong. Jennie brought us to this really traditional chinese restaurant. The food were traditional and so was the decor of the restaurant.

We had a great time having the scrumptious meal. After dinner, it was our rummy session! We only headed home in the morning. By the time I got off Leroy's car, it was 5am!!!!

I had a really nice time.
