Fishy Sunday Afternoon

With only 5 hours of sleep, I went downtown to meet up with the P&G assistant brand manager for one of the brands that I handle. He came from Singapore to attend an event with us and also to have his market visit so he gets to know better on our business.

First, I picked him up from KL Hilton Sentral and we headed off to Yut Kee for a traditional hainanese lunch. Since he loves Chicken Rice so much, so I took him there. It was great to yack yack and yack over lunch as I don't really know him very well since I've joined the company. I only met him once and spoke to each other back in January when we were in Bangkok for a workshop.

It's ironic how we clique and can talk so much even though this is our second time to meet face to face.

After lunch, I've decided to take him to Pavilion as he wanted to look for some casual jackets. But due to there weren't any nice ones, I suggested to take him to Aquaria at KLCC. He left the afternoon's agenda to me :) (By the way, if you are wondering why did I take him to Aquaria? It's because he is originally from India and now resident in Singapore. He hasn't seen KL or Malaysia as a total yet).

So, he paid for the fees to enter the Aquaria. The whole journey in the Aquaria was just serene and fun. Serene because it was really relaxing to be in a dimmed litted place looking at the different types of fishes swimming in the tanks. It was fun because we made fun some of the fishes by giving them names and making up conversation for the fishes.

This is one grandma super big fish and he called her Ah Ma.

Nautilus Chamber - looks like some ancient, dinosaur era snail, right?

And the last stop - seahorse. It reminded me of my 'Seamaster'.

After the walk in the Aquaria, we had coffee at Dome, KLCC. We hung out till about 5pm and I drove him back to his hotel. I was meeting up with Leroy that evening for a scrumptious dinner.
